# Concepts

## Client Account

A client account is an account open for a trading participant on T-DX.

## Sub Account

A sub-account is a sub-division of a client account. By default, a client account has one single "main" sub-account.

## User

A user belongs to a single client account. A client account can have several users.

## Instrument

An instrument is a digital asset, a security or a financial instrument, admitted to trading on T-DX.

## Issuer

Person who issues or intends to issue digital assets, securities and/or financial instruments.
