# Taurus Network

Taurus Network provides a secure platform for financial institutions to share addresses and assets, pledge and call on collateral, and handle settlement across different digital assets. Membership in the Taurus Network gives you instant access to other network participants based on regions and gives you an extra layer of confidence on the blockchain.

## Participant Information via API

Throughout this guide you will need to know your participant ID as well as look up the ID of others.

* After joining, you can find your participant ID at the [My Participant ID endpoint](/protect-capital/v3.46/reference/taurus-network/get-my-participant)
* You can list participants in the network to retrieve their participant ID by querying the [List Participants endpoint](/protect-capital/v3.46/reference/taurus-network/get-participant) .
