# Create asset

POST https://your-protect-instance.example.com/api/rest/v2/assets/create
Content-Type: application/json

Starts a create-asset operation and returns the freshly-materialized AssetResourceV2 in PENDING state. The asset becomes ACTIVE and its on-chain state populated once the underlying workflow completes; consumers should poll GetAssetV2 to observe progress. The CREATE operation itself is queryable via ListAssetOperationsV2.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

## Request

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects a tgvalidatordCreateAssetRequestV2.
