This endpoint creates a fiat provider convert request (currency conversion, e.g. fiat<->stablecoin). Required role: RequestCreator. This API can be made idempotent by generating an ID for the Request beforehand and passing it as the externalRequestID attribute

Bearer authentication of the form Bearer <token>, where token is your auth token.

Request

This endpoint expects an object.

amountstringRequired

numeric; Amount of the source asset to convert, in the smallest currency unit based on the source currency decimals.

fromAccountIDstringRequired

The ID of the fiat provider account holding the source asset to convert. This is the Taurus-PROTECT Account ID.

toAccountIDstringRequired

The ID of the fiat provider account for the target asset the source will be converted into. Must belong to the same provider account (profile) as fromAccountID. This is the Taurus-PROTECT Account ID.

commentstringOptional

externalRequestIDstringOptional

Identifier for the request in the user's system. This must be unique. Attempting to create a request with an existing externalRequestID will do nothing and return the originally created request. The externalRequestID is passed to fiat providers as an idempotency key.
